A menu worth the close-up
Photography and video for Chardon, a Houston restaurant: the dishes, the drinks, the dining room and the people behind them, shot in-house for the menu, the website and the feed.
(02) — The challenge
What wasn’t working
A restaurant is judged on its photos before anyone tastes the food. Chardon needed images that match what arrives at the table: the gloss of a sauce, the steam of a pour, and a room people want to book.
(03) — Our approach
What we did
We shot during service, between orders: plated dishes close and low, table spreads from above, pours caught mid-motion, and the dining room and kitchen team in the restaurant’s own light. Every set was graded in-house to one warm look, then cropped for the menu, the website and each feed, and short vertical video carries the same look into Reels and TikTok.
