This policy explains what Kansei Media (“we”) collects through this website and our client portal, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email info@kanseimedia.com.
01What we collect
- What you tell us. When you send a project brief or email us: your name, email address, phone number, business name, website and social handles, industry, goals, budget range, timeline, project details, how you heard about us and how you’d like to be contacted.
- Client portal. If you’re a client, or on a client’s team, we keep your account details (name and email), the work you review, your comments and approvals, and the agreements, invoices and payments tied to your account. Your agreement with us covers that work.
- Technical details. When you visit, our hosting provider handles basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Some images are delivered by a content delivery network that receives the same kind of information.
- Analytics, only with your OK. We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to see how people find and use the site: the pages visited, how they got here, the type of device and a rough location. Its cookies are only set if you choose Accept on the cookie notice, and you can change your choice any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. We don’t use advertising cookies.
- Sign-in cookies. If you sign in to the client portal, we set the cookies needed to keep you signed in.
02How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal.
- To do the work you hire us for, and to invoice for it.
- To run, secure and improve the website and client portal.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for targeted advertising.
03Who helps us handle it
We use service providers that only process your information to provide their service to us: website hosting (Vercel), our database and sign-in (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), website analytics if you accept it (Google) and, for clients, payment processing (Stripe). We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
04How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as the work lasts and afterwards for as long as tax, accounting and legal obligations require. Then we delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.
05Your choices
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email info@kanseimedia.com and we’ll respond within the time the law requires. We won’t treat you differently for asking.
06Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access limited to the people who need it. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee it.
07Children
This website isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
08Changes and contact
If we change this policy we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Questions go to info@kanseimedia.com. Using the website is also covered by our terms of use.
